St. Matthew to participate in Milan parade
The Outreach Committee of the Board of Mission and Ministry is excited to announce that St. Matthew will be entering a float and walking in the Milan Indian Summer Festival Parade on Saturday, September 3. This is a wonderful opportunity to facilitate St. Mathewâs presence and involvement in the Milan community.
If you have any suggestions or wish to contribute to the planning and development of this fun and exciting project, you are most welcome to participate in any the following events and activities leading up to the parade. Please note that any contribution you can give at any of the listed events is most welcome. Any updates or adjustments to the schedule will be announced in the weekly bulletin and on the churchâs Facebook page.
Saturday, July 31, 10:00 a.m. â Planning meeting
Saturday, August 6, 10:00 a.m. â Planning meeting
Saturday, August 13, 10:00 a.m. â Planning meeting
Saturday, August 20, 10:00 a.m. â Work on float begins
Monday, August 23 through Friday, August 26, 6:30 p.m. each evening â Work on float continues
Saturday, August 27, 10:00 a.m. â Work on float
Saturday, September 3, 8:00 a.m. â Meet at church; Parade begins at 10:30 a.m.
